Program Evaluation Services

Since its foundation, Samson & Associates has developed a high degree of expertise in all aspects of program evaluation and in various sectors of activity by public and private organizations, both in Canada in abroad. We can help you conduct a proper evaluation of the effectiveness and efficiency of your programs in terms of your priorities, objectives or desired results. We offer a methodical approach that will enable you to examine the effectiveness of your programs.

In this regard, Samson & Associates offers you support services for every phase of an evaluation. This enables us to produce an evaluation framework that is designed to meet your expectations. We can realize each phase of the actual evaluation: planning the evaluation, collecting and analysing data that is relevant to program effectiveness, formulating findings and, finally, making recommendations. This approach will enable you to make the appropriate decisions regarding the pursuit of your programs, to keep better records of the programs you are responsible for and, thereby, to offer sound advice.

While conducting evaluation assignments, we abide by the standards established by the government of Canada and the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES). In addition, we use state-of-the-art methods, data collection instruments, and quantitative of qualitative analytical tools and processes including the clear definition of aims and objectives of the evaluation, the close collaboration between the team of evaluators and the client and the fact that the evaluation must be directed towards achieving practical and applicable results.

In order to respond to the augmenting demand for contractors being able to perform a wide spectrum of evaluation mandates, Samson & Associates recently formed a consortium with Le Groupe-conseil Baastel. This consortium provides a wider range of qualifications, experience and specialization to our clients. Using this formula, we have recently qualified for major standing offers with the National Research Council and with Industry Canada.
