Sustainable Development Strategy

In September 2015, the United Nations (UN) adopted a set of goals to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity as part of a new sustainable development agenda. These 17 goals (SDG) were designed to give the Earth a better future and contains hundreds of targets, and measurement indicators geared toward the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development.

As a small-sized organization, Samson takes the matters of sustainable development very seriously. By establishing a set of targets, Samson is given a chance to promote employee well-being and increase positive environmental impact. As such, the associated values, principles and practices are embedded into all aspects of Samson’s internal operations as well as its services to clients.

Ultimately, Samson wants to continue reducing its footprint while providing a healthy, respectful workplace to improve employee and consultants’ well-being.

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)

With regards to EDI, Samson recognizes and embraces diversity in the workplace. This is not only critical from a human rights and respect perspective, but also necessary for fostering an innovative, high-performing organization where diverse viewpoints lead to a healthy work environment and top-quality services for clients.

Greenhouse Gas Reduction

Although we are a small firm, we believe that, as a socially responsible organization, it is our duty to reduce the environmental impact of our operations. As such we are committed to significantly reduce our carbon emission by 2030 as part of our strategic plan. This plan outlines our commitment to sustainable practices and the steps we will take to minimize our environmental footprint.
